Bilbo Baggins

[Bilbo has been thinking since his talk with one of his new acquaintances. He's been in Luceti long enough to learn his way around, the basics of his situation here, and even to see New Feathers come after him. That's longer than he expected, even after being warned, really; his journey with the dwarves and the Shire still call to him.

But before that, this has made it clear there's something else he should be conisdering. He can't just ignore everything happening around him. He may be small and no warrior, but he's learned he can still have a place among those who are, in his own way.

That's what he wants to find now. He seems very uncharacteristically unsure of himself at first, but he soon warms to his imagined audience, even over the voice function.]

Greetings, Luceti. Over the past months, I have come to know some of you. I've seen what happens here. People's minds have changed and new people have come here, as lost as I was when I first arrived.

I'm no warrior to fight these Third Party. They called me a burglar back home, though I assure you I've never stolen a thing in my life, and I'm not very sure I was very good at that, either. But that doesn't mean there's nothing I can do. I just want to find that. So I wondered if there were people who needed help I could provide, or someone who knows where I might be useful.

[His resume is sort of unimpressive: He's small and quiet, sharp-witted, and good with throwing things. But he won't give up; and he'll learn.]

[Bilbo's been using his time wisely. Alright, actually he's mostly been sneaking around Luceti with his ring on to get a feel for the place.

The past couple days, you'd think it was already the height of spring, with all these couples popping up out of nowhere and lads chasing the lasses - and a few lasses chasing the lads. Bilbo's certainly not the peeping sort, so he leaves these couples alone and generally heads elsewhere when he spots them.

He frequents the library, where a few books might be left out with no one seemingly around to read them as he becomes hobbit-quiet when someone approaches. When outside, he can be found around the fountain in particular. And while he stays out of the way there, he even makes a decision to take a look at the battle dome he's heard about.

There's a very thin shadow still visible in full sunlight, and more than once, he's had to scramble to avoid being literally tripped over...]

(ooc: also open to v-day eventedness while out about. traits and triggers here.)

[Action: Shops]

[In the village, there is a hobbit: about four feet tall, with pointed ears, and barefoot in the snow. Like many others, he's dressed in simple New Feather clothing, and has a pair of tiny wings: green. Ignoring them hasn't made them go away yet.

He's glancing through some of the windows before darting in and out of a few of the shops. If caught inside one, he seems to be looking for something very determinedly. He is, at least, very careful to replace everything he moves exactly back where he found it. Occasionally, he mutters to himself, usually along the lines of 'where has the thing gone?']

[Action: Welcome Center]

[Later, the welcome center seems like a proper place to start his adventure, as Bilbo Baggins of Bag-End supposes it should be called. He will have to get his bearings in this Luceti (a place not on any of his maps; he'll have to find out more about that). It's warm and cozy inside, and he can be found in a comfortable chair (not as comfortable as the one in his own hobbit hole, but certainly softer than he's experienced in most of his travels), reading from the guide and looking over the journal.]
